Interruptions and buffering
Interruptions on all channels most often come from the connection or the playlist's server; on a movie, a larger buffer helps.
Steps
- Test several channels: if only one cuts out, its stream is the problem; if all of them cut out, it's the connection or the server.
- Prefer a network cable over Wi‑Fi on your TV, or move the device closer to the box.
- For movies and series, increase Settings › Player › Buffer Size (Medium, Large or Extra large).
- Run the playlist diagnostic: "Server very slow" or "unstable server" points to the server.
Live TV always uses an optimized fixed buffer: the Buffer Size setting only applies to movies and series. On live TV, "Suggest a backup channel" can offer you the same channel in another quality when the picture stutters.
